Resale royalty

Viscopy is delighted to announce a new membership benefit - collecting resale royalties.

You may have heard that the introduction of the resale royalty right in Australia means that artists will receive royalties from the secondary sale of certain artistic works after the commencement of the scheme on 9 June 2010.

Viscopy will not charge you a fee for performing the service under this agency agreement.  Please note that the Collecting Society deducts a commission of 10% before paying royalties to Viscopy.

Viscopy is a member based not-for-profit that represents more than 8000 visual artists in Australia, half of which are Indigenous.
